Introduction & Purpose

Greetings and Hello!
My name is Natalie, but I am often called Natchan. Welcome to my WCS (World Cosplay Summit) progress and goal blog! What is the WCS you might wonder. Well it is nothing less than a world lever cosplay contest that takes place in Nagoya Japan every summer.

I have been officially cosplaying for a decade now, and this has always been a dream of mine. This past weekend (8-1-2014) I had to opportunity to watch a couple of cosplayers I personally know compete at this prestigious event via live-stream. Not only over the years and struggles had I lost that passion and feeling for this wonderful hobby, but I'd also forgotten entirely about my dream. Watching Elrowiel & Pannon on that live-stream re-kindled my dream, and now I want to make it a reality.

Now I'm still pretty novice myself, but I'm learning more and more every time I work on a cosplay. I can't say I'll be ready in the next year or two, or even five or six, but I do know that I want to make my dream come true and make it to Nagoya. I have the passion, the drive, and a wonderful cosplay buddy that is willing to help me make this a reality.

So welcome to my journey! I hope you'll stick around and watch my progress. I love comments and suggestions so don't be afraid to say hello.
